Portals of the Fae is New Player Friendly!
Even if you haven’t LARPed before, you’ll find Portals is easy to learn and easy to play.

- Come to your first event at 3pm for the New Player Training
PoF has been specifically designed to be simple and easy. Every event is about 2 hours of foam weapon (boffer) combat, and 3 hours of social roleplaying as your character. Because the Portals open to 3 different worlds, you have many types of characters and starting costumes to choose from. We also have some loaner weapons that you can use for your first few times. And if you’re not ready for combat yet, you can play a healer and stay back, or just observe the combat phase! Please get a ticket under Events, and come join the fun!
