A live action role playing game in the realm of faerie
About once every moon, the celestial bodies align and the portals open to the fae realm. Those blessed by the magic of the forest can enter the Mystic Vale for the Grand Gathering.
In Portals of the Fae you play a hero summoned through one of those portals. You dress as your character, fight monsters with foam weapons and spell packets, and then sit down with the other visitors to trade news, form alliances and make merry. The Seelie Court hosts the Gathering. The Unseelie Court is the reason it needs defending.
